With this assembly kit, students are made familiar with the basic principles and
function of modern automation technology.
The assembly kit is an independently
functioning training module that includes all didactic training materials.
What can students learn with this module?
-
Structure of pneumatic control systems
-
Structure of electric control systems
-
SPS programming
-
Commissioning of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems
-
Use and adjustment of mechanical limit switches
-
Automation of work processes
-
Structure, function and use of photoelectric barriers with phototransistors
The "ASRS" module is an independent element of the Christiani assembly kit "mMS
junior". It is able to pick workpieces and place them in compartments, and it can
take them out again and eject them.
How it works:
The function group "ASRS" consists of the assembly groups
vertical axle, horizontal axle and shelving system, which are all mounted together
on two assembly platforms. The combination of vertical and horizontal axle allows
the shelves to be fi lled in two dimensions. The workpieces are picked up and places
in the shelves for storage. A total of 24 storage spaces are available. The carriage
on the horizontal axle transports the vertical axle. On the vertical axle there
is a dual action pneumatic cylinder with a suction cup that is used for picking
up and
setting down the workpieces. Photoelectric barriers are used to position
the two axles.
