With this assembly kit, students are made familiar with the basic principles and
function of modern automation technology.
The assembly kit is an independently
functioning training module that includes all didactic training materials.
What can students learn with this module?
Structure of pneumatic control systems
Commissioning of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems
Use and adjustment of mechanical limit switches
Automation of work processes
The module "Press" is an independent element of the Christiani assembly kit "mMS
junior". It is able to pick up workpieces, symbolically process them and then eject
How it works:
The "Press" function group signals
a press cycle (workpiece processing). After the workpieces have been inserted, the
safety gate is closed and the workpieces are pressed by a pneumatic cylinder (the
cycle is signalled by a buzzer). After they have been processed, the safety gate
is opened and the workpieces are pushed out of the work chamber by a pneumatic cylinder
and made available for further transport. The press has a working chamber that is
closed on all sides. A safety wall made of Plexiglas allows the press cycle to be
